Sage turned Four!!

Where to begin? The last few weeks have been INSANE! But, we survived and are ready for life to return to normal...whatever normal was...I miss it. The day we celebrated Sage's birthday was the same day her Daddy got out of the hospital. (Jake was having severe pain in his side and ended up needing his appendix removed. We are so grateful he didn't have any pain/issues when he was in China.) The party was a surprise for Sage (who was being watched by her wonderfully helpful Aunt Chrissy) and it turned out pretty cute as a last minute celebration! Sage has been obsessed with rainbows lately and so I knew what I wanted her birthday theme to be. She was THRILLED when she walked in the door! :)

Miss Sage is such a joy to have in our family. She has been our soft-spoken, easy going child. Sage is my snuggler. She loves to cuddle. She's also my shadow. She follows me wherever I go and doesn't like to be alone. She likes to help me load the dishwasher and put the laundry in the washing machine. She likes to pick out fruit and veggies at the grocery store. She likes to draw and color and put puzzles together. Sage is a wonderful big sister. She likes to help me change and bathe and dress the baby. Sage is also a very wonderful and patient little sister. She lets Riley play with all her toys and puts up with being bossed around for the most part. Sage has us all wrapped around her little finger. She knows how to get her way with big tears which she can unleash at any moment. It's hard to tell her no! We love you, Sage! You're not allowed to get any bigger!
